The time to harvest the fruit from our trees and bathe olives in the sun arrived quickly. From the heart of Istria, near the beautiful Adriatic Sea, from the olive groves of the Vanđelić estate, a bottle of award-winning, quality Nono Remiđo extra virgin olive oil will grace your table.
Beginning in October and concluding last week in mid-November, we have finished this year’s olive harvest. After a few weeks of careful harvesting, we are pleased with this year’s yields. In total, we harvested and processed approximately 45 tonnes of olives, which resulted in the production of about 4,900 litres of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
In addition to the blend of valad oil (varieties of buža, carbonaceous, leccina, whitewash, pendolin, maraiol, and frantoia) and finida (varieties of buža, rosinjola, carbonaceous, leccina, Istrian white, pendolina, maraiola, and frantoia). We also prepared monosort oils of the rosinjola type, Istrian whites, and buzzas.
We have also paid more attention to quality rather than quantity. So, despite the weaker crop than last year due to climatic conditions at the time of flowering, the oil quality is truly excellent. Therefore, we would like to thank our loyal customers who return to the flavours of our olive oil again, and we cannot wait to share the fruits of this year’s harvest with anyone who will savour it!
Words that I am not sure if I have translated correctly would need someone who is an expert in the field to look over these terms.
