The new successful olive harvest of 2019 has been completed.

The time has come to harvest the fruits of our sun-drenched trees, our olive trees. From the heart of Istria, near our beautiful Adriatic Sea, from the olive groves of the Vanđelić estate, high-quality and award-winning Nono Remiđo extra virgin olive oil arrives at your tables.

The olive harvest, which began in October and was completed last week, in mid-November, has now concluded for this year. After several weeks of careful picking, this year's yields are good – we harvested and processed around 45 tonnes of olives, resulting in the production of approximately 4,900 L of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

In addition to blended oils from young olives (varieties Buža, Carbonace, Leccina, Bjelica, Pendolina, Maraiola and Frantoia) and 'finide' oils (varieties Buža, Rosinjola, Carbonace, Leccina, Istarska Bjelica, Pendolina, Maraiola and Frantoia), we have also prepared single-varietal oils of the Rosinjola, Istarska Bjelica and Buža varieties.

We have always paid more attention to quality rather than quantity, so despite a lower yield than last year due to unfavourable climatic conditions during flowering, the quality of the oil is truly excellent. Therefore, we would like to thank our loyal customers who keep returning to the flavours of our olive oil, and we can't wait to share the fruits of this year's harvest with everyone who wants to enjoy it!
